Newcastle United comes to Boroughbridge this summer when the Premier league club’s charity arm stages a one-day summer soccer school in partnership with Boroughbridge Juniors FC.
The event is open to girls and boys of all abilities aged five to 14, regardless if they play or train at Boroughbridge JFC and takes place 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 13 August, 2019. The cost is £20 per player. The venue for the school is Boroughbridge AFC on Aldborough Road in the town.
All Newcastle United Foundation coaches have a minimum UEFA B Licence and group lead coaches are minimum FA Level 2 trained.
Chris Fahy, Boroughbridge Juniors chairman said: “This event is a first for the junior club and we are delighted that Newcastle United Foundation has agreed to run one of their popular summer soccer schools in the town.
“The day will be great for getting kids away from screens over the summer and help them learn new skills, have fun, make new friends and create memories – plus get expert football coaching from a top premier league outfit.”
